It's been a long time since I wrote an article here. And podcasts aren't much better either, but it was winter and there wasn't much going on in winter. However, the season starts slowly again, so it's time to start winterizing.

The group was created as a bridge between the pages, YouTube channel and exclusive content. We can discuss everything related to historic vehicles, but also gasoline and the like. The rules of the group are simple, any inappropriate behavior is punished by an instant ban forever, because if you do it once, you will do it again.
I didn't expect that I could get lucky and it happened. At today's gathering of historic vehicles in Orlová, I really had a blast. I looked at a whole range of foreign cars, of the foreign ones I was most interested in the Peugeot 301 from 1934, but then I went to look at Skodas. I finally know what the 110R looks like, the last generation of the 1000MB, I was refreshed by how beautiful the old Felicia is, but then I was able to see something that really cannot be seen. A beautiful car from 1957. It was a Spartak and I can tell you it was quite an experience. Not only was I able to touch it, but the owner was willing enough to start it for me. I expected everything, noise, smoke, stench... But none of that happened. Spartak was really unimaginably quiet, a hundred and twenty against him roars like a cow.
I hope that I will meet Spartak again at one of the next meetings and that I will be lucky enough to see a Tudor or a Škoda 1200. I would also really like to drive an old Felda, or even a Spartak, they were and are really beautiful cars, from Škoda 120 seems to me that the shapes are not so nice anymore, they are already such boxes. Maybe now I understand why XNUMX's and later were nicknamed coffins.
It has been three weeks since reporter Ms. Kubisová and her cameraman visited my exhibition. And today, a small part of the meeting was broadcast on the program News from the Regions. I admire the editors who were able to cut the approximately one-hour report into a two-minute and meaningful report. I just hope it was of some use and that it breaks down the barrier between me and the property owners / real estate agents. I know of several spaces in our city where it would be possible to run an exhibition, but the reluctance to communicate with me is admirable.

It makes sense!
Today confirmed to me that the whole Touch the Transport project really has meaning and potential, and although unfortunately I still don't have the space, I organized a tour at the request of two lovely guests, which I called the summer exposition. Although the weather didn't work out for us a little bit, it was really great otherwise, and guiding a sighted person with closed eyes through the motorization of a car is really exciting. And when they say goodbye to you that they enjoyed it and that I made them very happy is the greatest reward for me.
It probably wouldn't be possible for anyone to devote themselves to cars from morning to evening, everyone just needs a break sometimes. Although I devote myself really intensively to my fleet, there are times when I just have to switch off.

Important podcast update
Although the poll that took place on the YouTube channel showed an interest in publishing podcasts from the audience, I decided not to publish podcasts on YouTube. Although podcast listeners have been found on Youtube, there are far more on real podcast platforms, and since the publication on Youtube was done as part of a paid podcast service, it is not worthwhile for me to continue using the service. It's not the cheapest, and YouTube repost was the only thing I used from the premium features. Great spaces - but too far
In the past weeks, I received an offer for premises that would perfectly meet the needs of the exhibition and not only that. I was also offered the loan of several foreign-made cars that are in a condition where they can be touched, i.e. especially paint defects. The exhibition would be in the premises of the former cowshed, some 200 m2 at a price of 2000 CZK per month, just for comparison, that's how much I pay in Těšín for a 3 by 4 meter garage. Everything could have been perfect, but the distance ruined the plans. Silesian Museum of Veterans namely, he opens his exhibition in the village of Sudice, which is almost 90 km from Těšín. And that's really too far and that's a terrible shame. A perfect collaboration could have worked between the Veterans Museum and Touch the Traffic, but moving to and from the exhibit would have been very time-consuming. However, it is not excluded that the cooperation with the newly emerging museum will not happen in the next few years, because the museum itself will be opened just a short distance from the place that was offered to me, and in the future its owner is planning his own premises. About everything, but in the end definitely distance again.
